Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was a student for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox was paid a allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy with her performance compared to that of the other students. She began considering other options. Lennox was a flute player in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. The group did not get to compete in the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. She was the singer of The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. This is where she first came across Dave Stewart with whom she would form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut record Diva. The album was released in 1993. The album was hugely successful both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul jazz tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to an art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go...
