Lesley Ann Brandt was a South Africa actress and model born on 2 December 1981. Her most prominent performances are on television and films. Brandt began her career as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was with her role as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared in various TV shows in the past decade. They include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is the character Mazikeen on the popular urban fantasy series Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was born within Cape Town South Africa. As she was in her teens, she moved into Auckland New Zealand along with her parents and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career through ads and commercials. She also worked as an IT recruiting consultant and in retail before becoming famous as a fashion model. The first time she was featured, she landed her part in the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity where she was given the role as Leilani Fa'auigaese. The first time she appeared on screen was in 2021, when she appeared as the character of slave woman Naevia for the Starz show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena, she reprised the role as Naevia. Craig Parker starred alongside her on three shows that aired on television: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She began playing Mazikeen the demon that seeks bounty on the hit Netflix show Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date. The show stars alongside Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
